About the PAC

The Gladstone Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a group of volunteer parents/guardians who meet together and discuss topics about the school and the education of their children. During Covid, we have been meeting via Zoom, about once each month.  Due to people’s schedules we understand that some arrive late, others leave early, but all are welcome.  We value the diversity of our community and want to provide a safe place where all voices can be valued and represented.  If you are a parent/guardian of a child at Gladstone, you are already a member.  We would love to hear from you.

Why Should You Go To A Meeting?

Here are some reason to attend ...
  • The Student Council tells us what the student body is up to
  • A Teacher updates us on what new things teachers are working on as a community
  • The Principal updates parents on information, answers questions and offers support
  • Share your ideas to help build a strong school community
  • Improve communication between Parents and Teachers
  • Help in making administrative and financial decisions
  • Discuss current issues and/or concerns
  • Find out more about your child’s education and learn about ongoing school activities
  • Collaborate on new ideas and initiatives
  • Visit with guest speakers
  • Help raise money and figure out how it should best be spent to enrich the education of our students

Our PAC can also elect members to the Vancouver District PAC (DPAC) and the BC Confederation of PACs (BCCPAC).
